Wasatch County School District cares about every child from every family. Modern-day schools and communities present unique challenges to children beyond reading, writing, and arithmetic. So, we want to do our part in supporting our children, their families, and our community. In an effort to support all kids from all families, we have launched an initiative called “Wasatch Wellness.” This initiative has been made possible through the collaboration of our Wasatch Parent Network, Wasatch Mental Health, and the School Board. This initiative is dedicated to improving the wellness of our students, their families, and our community.

What is “wellness?”

• Wellness is access to resources at home, school, and the community. 
• Wellness is navigating relationships at home, school, and the community in a meaningful way. 
• Wellness is improving our competence in a skill or a trade at home, school, and the community. 
• Wellness is understanding the basics behind a healthy diet, sleep, and exercise.

The vision of the Wasatch Wellness initiative is to help all kids, faculty, staff, and community members access wellness across these domains. 

The mission of Wasatch Wellness is to provide a physical location with reliable resources for kids, faculty, staff, and community members beyond the school day.
