Welcome to the Wasatch Aquatic Center!
๐ŸŒŠ Exciting News Swimmers! ๐ŸŒŠ
Starting June 1st, we're making some waves of change at the Wasatch Aquatics Center: lane reservations are out, and the opportunity to share lanes is in! We understand that sharing lanes might feel a bit daunting, especially if you're used to having your own space. But fear not! We're here to ensure that this transition is as smooth and positive as possible. We've got all the information you need on how to gracefully share a lane and enter a lane already in use. These lane rules are universal, so whether you're swimming here or at another facility, you'll feel right at home. We truly appreciate each and every one of you, and we're counting on your support to make this change a positive one. To help us along the way, we have a couple of simple requests: ๐ŸŠ For the Activity Pool: Our pool holds up to 6 people walking or swimming. If you notice all 6 spots are taken, we kindly ask that you wait until someone finishes their workout before entering the pool. Let's keep things courteous and enjoyable for everyone! ๐ŸŠโ€โ™‚๏ธFor the Competition Pool: Please leave lane one open for those who need to use the stairs. It's a small gesture that goes a long way in ensuring everyone's comfort and safety. Additionally, there are times throughout the day when you may have the luxury of having your own lane due to low lane usage in the competition pool. Since we change to summer hours the slow times will be different. You will have to come in and swim to find out those times. This new system also enables us to keep a lane open during swim team practices throughout the day, allowing you to drop in and get your workout in whenever suits you best. As we embark on this new chapter together, let's remember that we're all here for the same reason: to get in a great workout and enjoy the benefits of swimming. Your positivity and cooperation are what will make this transition a success. Thank you, we will see you at the pool, and let's make a splash! ๐ŸŠโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ’ฆ
