Wasatch Homebuilding

The Wasatch Homebuilding Program at Wasatch High School gives students hands-on experience in construction, design, and project management while building real homes for the community. Led by Construction Management Instructor Canyon Prusso, the program blends rigorous academic standards with real-world application, helping students develop technical skills, collaboration, problem-solving, and career readiness. Through teamwork on active job sites, students gain confidence, feel connected to their school, and graduate prepared for college, apprenticeships, or the workforce—often with a tangible reminder of their impact: a home they helped build right here in Wasatch.
