Wasatch Learning Academy Principal
Ryan Brown is a native of Gold Hill, Ore., where he graduated from Crater High School. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Brigham Young University, and earned a Master’s of Education from Southern Utah University, along with endorsements in English as a Second Language and Elementary Mathematics. He spent four years as a 4th Grade Teacher before beginning his 20-year tenure with Wasatch, where he has served as a 4th Grade Teacher, Technology Specialist and Teacher on Special Assignment, and Principal at J.R. Smith Elementary School before taking the helm of Wasatch Learning Academy. When asked about Wasatch, he says it’s the District’s “emphasis on student learning” that makes him most proud.
