Wasatch Learning Academy:
flexible online and parent-directed learning options
The Wasatch Learning Academy (WLA) is a public K–8 school within the Wasatch County School District in Heber City, Utah. Like all public schools in Utah, WLA is publicly funded and committed to providing high-quality educational opportunities for students and families seeking flexible learning options.
At Wasatch Learning Academy, we strive for excellence with the goal of ensuring at least one year of measurable academic growth for every student, every year. Our instructional programs are built around clearly identified essential standards and learning outcomes that guide student learning and progress.
Recognizing that students learn in different ways, WLA partners with Harmony Education to provide a comprehensive online learning option. This program combines the flexibility of learning from home with structured coursework, individualized support, and accountability, allowing students to receive a quality education while remaining connected to their local public school system.
