My name is Lynette Schiess.  I am the school counselor here at Heber Valley Elementary School.  I have worked as a counselor for 10 years, 6 of which were at J.R. Smith Elementary, 3 at Rocky Mountain Middle School and a short 1 year stint at the Utah State Board of Education.  I love counseling and am so excited to be back in the elementary schools where I can focus on social-emotional learning, prevention and early intervention.  I grew up in the Heber Valley where I graduated from Wasatch High School.  I have an amazing husband, three awesome sons, two beautiful daughters-in-law and one adorable granddaughter.  I love spending time with my family and friends, camping, riding 4-wheelers at the sand dunes and playing volleyball.  I am thrilled to be a part of the Heber Valley Elementary team and can’t wait to get to know each student.
